Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Principal Engineer to lead the design and implementation of antenna, radome, and RCS ranges and chambers. You will guide teams, set technology roadmaps, and work with government programs to validate range compliance.

This onsite role requires a DoD Secret clearance, 10+ years in related fields, and strong skills in instrumentation and simulation tools (HFSS, CST, FEKO, SENTRi, GRASP). Relocation may be offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 8+ years in antennas, radomes or RCS ranges.
• Ability to obtain interim U.S. government clearance prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Develop antenna, radome, advanced sensor systems, and/or RCS ranges/chambers.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to define, analyze, simulate, implement, and evaluate requirements for ranges/chambers and test equipment.
• Oversee implementation of new ranges/chambers and manage suppliers.
• Provide technical oversight, mentoring, and training across the organization.
