Job summary

Raytheon’s Effector RF Design Team in Tucson, AZ seeks a Senior Principal Engineer to lead the design of antenna, radome, and RCS ranges and chambers. You will guide cross‑functional engineering, define requirements, and mentor staff while ensuring program alignment and technology roadmaps.

You will work with government programs to validate range compliance, oversee implementations, and contribute to innovation within a secure, onsite role in Tucson.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in STEM with 10+ yrs experience or advanced degree with 8+ yrs experience.
• Ability to obtain interim U.S. security clearance prior to start; potential for program access.
• Experience testing antennas/radomes in chambers or ranges; knowledge of measurement theory.

Responsibilities

• Develop antenna, radome, sensor systems and/or RCS ranges/chambers.
• Collaborate with thermal, structural, mechanical and systems teams to define requirements.
• Oversee implementation of new ranges/chambers and manage equipment suppliers.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and training across the organization.
