Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Baltimore, MD is hiring a Staff Engineer RF Microwave Design to lead the Hardware Design Team through the full design lifecycle for AESA subsystem hardware. You will partner with mechanical, manufacturing and test teams to mature and verify RF/microwave assemblies, guided by critical milestones.

Requirements include a bachelor's in EE, 12+ years of experience (10+ with MS, 8+ with PhD), proficiency with Keysight ADS, HFSS, Xpedition, MATLAB, Python, and US citizenship with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM field.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant engineering experience (10 years with a Master's, 8 years with a PhD).
• US Citizenship required.
• Active Secret Clearance and ability to obtain SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Hardware Design Team and progress hardware product through the design lifecycle.
• Oversee RF, microwave, and mixed-signal assembly design and verification.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Manufacturing, Test, and IC design Engineers.
• Mentor engineers and perform senior peer reviews.
