Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Baltimore, MD is seeking an experienced Senior Principal RF Microwave Design Engineer to lead a team delivering space production hardware. You will work on AESA antennas, RF/microwave subsystems, and full system designs for test campaigns.

The role requires active Secret clearance and collaboration across a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. Strong MATLAB/Python/C# skills and experience with RF test equipment are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s STEM degree or related discipline with 8 years of experience; 6 years with Master’s; 3 years with Ph.D.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests RF and/or microwave systems architecture, subsystems, circuits, or products.
• Antenna design for reflector and array systems.
• Lead a team through integration, test, and analysis of complex antenna systems.
• Present to internal and external customers; mentor junior engineers.
