Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking experienced engineers in RF/Microwave design to deliver space production hardware across multiple test campaigns. Senior Principal roles lead antenna systems from concept to test in Baltimore, MD.

Responsibilities include design, development and testing of RF/microwave architectures, and mentoring junior engineers while presenting results to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s STEM degree or related field with 8 years of experience, or Master’s with 6 years, or Ph.D. with 3 years.
• Active Secret clearance; ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Experience with AESA radar systems and RF/microwave design.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C# in engineering roles.
• Experience with high-rate production hardware and space-grade environments.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests RF/microwave systems architecture, subsystems and components.
• Lead team through integration, test and analysis of complex antenna systems.
• Present complex technical concepts to internal and external customers.
