Job summary
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal MMIC RFIC Design Engineer to join our Mission Systems team in Linthicum, MD. This role can be filled as Principal or Senior Principal MMIC RFIC Design Engineer, requiring strong RF/microwave background and active security clearance.
You will drive design activities across GaAs/GaN/InP/SiGe technologies, perform layout and verification, and collaborate across a broad engineering group to deliver high-performance radar and related systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM with years of experience in RFIC design.
- Experience with microwave circuit design tools and modeling.
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance required.
Responsibilities
- Develop MMIC/RFIC products for advanced systems from concept to characterization.
- Perform schematic, simulation, layout, and verification tasks.
- Lead and mentor teammates within a collaborative design team.
- Contribute to packaging, testing, and integration across technologies.
