Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Baltimore seeks an Electronics Engineer or Principal Electronics Engineer to install and test phase array sensor systems and provide system knowledge support. The role entails working on an MS team with advanced equipment and periodic travel after training.

The position requires a STEM degree and 2+ years of related experience (5+ for Principal), clearance eligibility, willingness to rotate shifts, and up to 10% travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline and 2+ years of relevant work experience.
Experience with airborne AESA radar/communications systems or related engineering background.
Willing to work occasional rotating shifts and travel up to 10% (CONUS/OCONUS).

Responsibilities

Perform post-installation and shop-floor system testing with other platform engineers.
Conduct pre-mission system test support and report results.
Collect, evaluate and report test results.
Troubleshoot electrical, electronic and test software; propose corrective actions.
Provide direction during work performed by repair technicians.
Support field sites, customer meetings, and other facilities.
