Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Linthicum, MD, is seeking engineers with RF/microwave expertise to design and verify RF/mixed-signal assemblies and subsystems for advanced radar and sensor systems. You will work across the product lifecycle from concept through production, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Candidates should have a degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM and experience with industry tools (ANSYS EM Suite, CST, Keysight ADS, Matlab/Simulink).

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering or related STEM degree, DoD eligible preferred.
• Experience in RF/microwave design and verification for radar systems.
• Proven ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Experience with industry design tools for RF/microwave modeling and testing.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, model, and verify RF/mixed-signal assemblies and subsystems.
• Lead or collaborate on AESA/phased-array radar projects throughout lifecycle.
• Develop test plans and troubleshoot RF hardware with lab equipment.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
• Apply electromagnetic simulation and data analysis to trade studies.
• Support transition to production and sustainment, including packaging.
