Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Assembler in San Jose, CA to perform mechanical box builds and hand soldering per IPC 610, supporting advanced microwave subsystems for missile front ends, radar receivers, wideband tuners, and synthesized sources.

You will work on complex assemblies, ensuring quality through inspections and testing, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years prior work experience in microelectronic, RF, hybrid and/or semiconductor assembly.
• Experience with wire bonding, gap welding, eutectic die attach, epoxy attach.
• Ability to use small hand tools such as tweezers and torque drivers and experience working under a microscope.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• US Person eligibility under export laws.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex assembly tasks involving mechanical, electrical, and electronic components according to detailed work instructions and blueprints.
• Ensure all assemblies meet quality standards by conducting thorough inspections and testing throughout the assembly process.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues, contributing to continuous process improvements.
