Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a manufacturing-focused professional to support microelectronic assembly on the San Jose production line. The role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to specifications, with responsibilities spanning equipment setup, troubleshooting, and collaboration with engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in microelectronic/semiconductor assembly, can handle components under a microscope, and communicates in English.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years prior work experience in microelectronic, RF, hybrid and/or semiconductor assembly.
• Proficiency in at least three of: wire bonding, gap welding, eutectic die attach, epoxy attach.
• Ability to handle devices and small components with tweezers under a microscope.
• Basic computer skills for documenting defects and time charging.
• Equipment set-up and calibration.
• Routine preventative maintenance tasks.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• This position requires access to controlled tech under US export laws.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate assembly and meet all specifications.
• Work independently and own quality, driving continual improvements.
• Join team meetings, offer suggestions and help meet daily production goals.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
• Work under a microscope for 8 hours daily.
• Communicate effectively in English and follow instructions.
• Collaborate with Process and Quality Engineering to troubleshoot procedure challenges.
