Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Senior Field Applications Engineer to bridge our engineering team and customers from RESTON, VA. This hybrid role requires RF knowledge and hands-on use of spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and test equipment. You will train end users, diagnose field issues, and support deployments.

Required: BS in electrical engineering or related field, 5 years of relevant experience, U.S. citizenship for government contracts, and willingness to travel up to 50% domestically.

Qualifications

• >> RF theory, spectrum analysis, and RF concepts proficiency.
• >> Ability to handle static sensitive equipment in ESD controlled environments.
• >> Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-tier technical assistance remotely and on-site to CRFS customers.
• Deliver hands-on technical training to end users across stages of deployment.
• Perform diagnostics and high-level repairs on CRFS equipment in office and field.
• Deploy to customer locations to install and support CRFS equipment.
• Develop test plans and project reports to support field activities.
• Assist Sales Teams with demonstrations and technical advice to advance sales.
• Manage demonstration equipment and inventory for readiness.
• Relay customer feedback to internal teams for product improvements.
• Travel up to 50% domestically, with some international trips.
