Job summary
RTX is seeking a Principal RF Engineer in McKinney, TX to provide expert analysis, design, fabrication, testing, and integration of RF subassemblies for tactical missile programs. You will develop RF/Digital solutions under challenging environmental constraints and collaborate across disciplines to meet program goals and timelines.
This onsite role requires active DoD SECRET clearance and offers a comprehensive benefits package with opportunities for advancement and hands-on testing in a modern
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in STEM required.
- 8+ years in RF/analog/digital design and related areas.
- Experience with RF product design, integration, test, and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise to ensure RF efforts meet goals and requirements.
- Design receivers, converters, and signal processors.
- Design CCAs with RF or mixed signals.
- Review CCA documentation: analyses, schematics, interface drawings, test plans, specs.
- Perform schematic capture and RF routing reviews.
- Collaborate with power, digital, mechanical teams.
- Work in lab for component characterization and CCA verification.
- Conduct RF CCA/module checkout per test plan and requirements.
