Job summary

RTX is seeking Radar Systems Engineers for an onsite role in McKinney, TX. The position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance and is based in the United States.

You will work with experienced engineers to define architectures, analyze requirements, and support MSBE-driven system design across the full lifecycle. Responsibilities include DOORS-based requirement verification, system CONOPS generation, radar mode development, modeling in MATLAB/Python, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and obtained by start date.
• Experience with RF fundamentals: link budget analysis, modulation schemes, noise figure, gain, bandwidth, filtering, or wave propagation.
• Experience with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators) through coursework, internships, or lab work.
• Experience with programming using C++ or scripting/automation tools like Python or LabVIEW.

Responsibilities

• Define system architecture, develop and verify system requirements, model and analyze across the full product lifecycle.
• Support integration, testing, and flight activities with DOORS and MBSE approaches.
• Conduct modeling, simulation, and data analysis using MATLAB and Python; contribute to hardware/software integration and lab testing.
• Prepare technical reports and briefings for internal and external stakeholders.
