Job summary

RTX Corporation in McKinney, TX is seeking an experienced engineer to contribute to RF microelectronics development in an on-site role. You will collaborate with suppliers, engineering, and program leadership to drive cost reductions and promote robust, producible designs using statistical analysis.

Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years in engineering, be eligible for a Secret clearance, and bring hands-on experience with MIL-STD-883, J-STD-001H, and AS9100 in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience.
• Currently possess or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Materials and process experience with MIL-STD-883, J-STD-001H, AS9100, RF microelectronics in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Interface with internal and external suppliers, engineering, and program leadership to develop cost reduction activities and promote effective design choices through statistical analysis.
• Gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment with development RF Microelectronics (Fire Control AESAs, Electronic Warfare, SATCOMs, etc.).
• Work as the liaison between the factory and program to improve producibility of complex RF electronics components and assemblies.
