L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Specialist Electrical Engineer in Yorba Linda, CA to lead RF system design from customer requirements to final architecture. You will coordinate with GPS signal processing, anti-jam, and government standards teams, and oversee qualification testing to ensure compliance with program needs.

The role requires 6+ years in RF design, embedded hardware and DSP, plus the ability to obtain a US Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience; graduate degree with 6+ years; or 10+ years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
• 3+ years’ experience with receiver, antenna, or radio design.
• 4+ years’ hands-on RF circuitry experience in a lab.
• 1+ year embedded hardware design experience.
• 1+ year FPGA design experience with DSP emphasis.

Responsabilités

• Design RF systems and derive requirements from customer specifications.
• Define architecture and flow down requirements to software, ASIC, and test teams.
• Develop qualification/test plans to verify architecture against requirements.
• Collaborate with GPS, anti-jam, hardware, software, and government standards experts.
• Provide project status, reviews, and engineering baselines for proposals and programs.
