L3Harris Technologies, Inc. in Yorba Linda, CA seeks a Senior Specialist Electrical Engineer to lead RF/GPS system design from requirements through architecture and verification.

You will coordinate with hardware, software, and test teams, develop qualification plans, and ensure the solution meets customer needs while aligning to program budgets and schedules. The role demands deep RF knowledge, FPGA/DSP, embedded design, and hands-on lab experience, with travel and US security clearance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Graduate degree with relevant experience.
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
• 3+ years’ receiver/antenna/radio design experience.
• 4+ years’ RF circuitry lab experience.
• 1+ year embedded hardware design experience.
• 1+ year FPGA design experience focusing on DSP.
• 4+ years’ strong verbal and written communication skills.
• 4+ years lab troubleshooting analog and RF electronics.
• 3+ years hardware measurement with network analyzers and RF test gear.

Responsabilités

• Translate customer requirements into system architecture and derive added requirements.
• Develop architecture, requirements schema, and link to documents across groups.
• Oversee qualification test plan development to verify alignment with requirements.
• Collaborate with GPS signal processing, anti-jam, hardware, software, and government standards teams.
• Work with cost and program management to meet budget and schedule.
• Contribute to design reviews and product development processes.
