L3Harris is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer in Yorba Linda, CA to guide FPGA/ASIC design from customer requirements through architecture and down to hardware and test. The role involves coordinating with software, ASIC, and test teams, and leading qualification activities to meet customer needs.

The successful candidate will have extensive FPGA/ASIC experience, RF/GPS expertise, and an Active Secret Security Clearance, with responsibilities spanning design, verification, and program

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of related experience, or graduate degree with 7+ years.
• 5+ years’ experience capturing schematics and layout with ECAD tools like Altium or Mentor Graphics.
• 6+ years’ RF design experience (receiver, antenna, or radio).
• Active Secret Security Clearance is required.

Responsabilités

• Deep knowledge of FPGA and Digital circuit design.
• Develop RF and GPS hardware designs and architectures.
• Derive and flow down customer requirements to software, ASIC, and test teams.
• Lead design reviews, verification plans, and customer CDRLs to meet schedules.
• Provide program management updates and support customer reviews.
• Travel 5–10% as needed.
