Silvus Technologies, a leading provider of advanced MANET and MIMO communications systems, seeks a Senior RF Design Engineer for the RF Engineering team. The role focuses on developing the RF subsystem for StreamCaster products, with on-site work in West Los Angeles and exposure to challenging, mission-critical applications.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of RF hardware experience and hands-on debugging, EMC/EMI expertise, and proficiency with RF tools like AWR Microwave Office and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of multi-GHz RF hardware development experience.
• Good working knowledge of RF board layout, fabrication, and packaging.
• Hands-on experience with solving EMI, harmonics, spurious, and stability issues.
• Experience using RF simulation tools (AWR Microwave Office, Altium).
• Must be a U.S. Person due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.
• All employment contingent upon background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Antenna to baseband RF subsystem design using discrete circuitry or highly integrated RFICs.
• Discrete design includes PLL, LNA, Mixers, PA, etc.
• Supervise schematic capture and PCB layout.
• RF performance characterization, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure EMI/EMC performance and regulatory compliance.
• Address production yield issues related to RF design.
