Silvus Technologies in San Diego, CA, is seeking an RF Test Engineer to join the RF Engineering team and help develop the RF subsystem for the StreamCaster MANET product line. You will work under the Director of RF Engineering on all test phases, from design verification to validation, with a strong emphasis on reliable measurements and reporting.

This 100% onsite role requires hands-on experience with multi-GHz RF hardware, EMI troubleshooting, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 2 years multi-GHz RF hardware development experience.
• Experience with RF board layout, fabrication, and packaging.
• Hands-on experience solving EMI, harmonics, spurious, and stability issues.
• Experience using RF simulation tools (AWR Microwave Office, Altium).

Responsabilités

• Use RF test equipment to evaluate system performance.
• Carry out RF test execution and generate reports.
• Define verification matrix and RF performance specs.
• Review test data to ensure performance meets requirements.
• Suggest improvements to test strategies.
• Design test fixtures and calibrate equipment.
• Handle sensitive RF circuits properly.
• Travel for local assignments as needed.
