Silvus Technologies in San Diego (Rancho Bernardo) is seeking a Senior RF Design Engineer to lead the RF subsystem design for the StreamCaster MANET product line. The role focuses on antenna-to-baseband design using discrete components or RFICs, with on-site work Mon–Fri.

You will validate RF performance, tune, and troubleshoot, ensure EMI compliance, and collaborate across engineering teams to improve manufacturability. A BS in EE with 5+ years of multi-GHz RF experience is required; U.S.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of multi-GHz RF hardware development experience.
• Good working knowledge of RF board layout, fabrication, and packaging.
• Hands-on experience with solving EMI, harmonics, spurious, and stability issues.
• Experience using RF simulation tools (i.e. AWR Microwave Office, Altium).

Responsabilidades

• Antenna to baseband RF subsystem design using discrete circuitry or highly integrated RFICs.
• Implementing or supervising schematic capture and PCB layout.
• RF performance characterization, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Overall system design to ensure good EMI performance.
• Ensure circuit board design and overall radio product can pass emission and immunity regulations.
