Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced RF Design Engineer for an onsite role in Tucson, AZ. Design transmitters, receivers, or exciters for radar and datalink hardware, and develop CCAs with RF/mixed signals in a lab environment.

You will perform component characterization, module verification, RF routing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet stringent environmental and manufacturability requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM with 10+ years RF experience.
• RF design and fabrication, RF test and troubleshooting, RF simulations.
• Experience with Mentor DX, HFSS, SystemVue/Genesys or ADS.
• Ability to obtain interim U.S. government security clearance prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of transmitters, receivers or exciters.
• Design of CCAs with RF or mixed signals.
• Lab work for component characterization and module verification.
• Test and handle sensitive RF hardware.
• Schematic capture and RF routing.
