Job summary

RTX, based in Tucson, AZ, seeks an RF design engineer to develop transmitters, receivers, and exciters for radar and datalink applications. You will design CCAs, work in a lab to characterize components, and verify module integration with RF test equipment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in STEM with 2+ years in RF design, testing, and simulations (HFSS/SystemVue/Genesys/ADS) and the ability to obtain interim security clearance. Onsite work in Tucson with relocation options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in STEM and 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience with RF design and fabrication.
• Experience with RF testing and troubleshooting.
• Experience with RF simulations using HFSS / SystemVue / Genesys / ADS.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of transmitters, receivers or exciters.
• Design CCAs with RF or mixed signals.
• Lab work for component characterization and module verification/integration.
• Test and handle sensitive RF hardware.
• Schematic capture and RF routing.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (power, digital, mechanical).
