Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced RF Design Engineer to contribute to the design and development of RF hardware for mission-critical programs. This onsite role focuses on transmitters, receivers, and exciters, with emphasis on RF circuitry and environmental constraints.

You will work in a lab, capture schematics, route RF signals, and collaborate with power, digital, and mechanical teams to ensure robust module verification and integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM and 8+ years of RF engineering experience.
• Experience with RF design and fabrication.
• Experience with RF testing and troubleshooting.
• Experience with RF simulation tools.
• Ability to obtain interim U.S. government clearance prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of transmitters, receivers or exciters.
• Design of circuit card assemblies (CCAs) with RF or mixed signals.
• Work in a lab to characterize components and verify modules.
• Test and handle sensitive RF hardware.
• Schematic capture and RF routing.
• Collaborate with power, digital, mechanical and other teams.
