Job summary

Raytheon’s Effector RF Design Department in Tucson, AZ designs RF and Microwave hardware for radar and datalink applications. The role covers design, lab characterization, module verification, and integration, with collaboration across power, digital, and mechanical teams to meet tough mission requirements.

A Bachelor's in STEM and at least eight years of RF design, testing, and simulation experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in STEM and at least eight years of prior relevant RF design experience.
• Experience with RF testing and troubleshooting.
• Experience with RF product simulation and design tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of transmitters, receivers or exciters.
• Design of CCAs with RF or mixed signals.
• Lab work for component characterization and module verification/integration.
• Test and handle sensitive RF hardware.
• Schematic capture and RF routing.
• Collaborate with power, digital and mechanical teams.
