Job summary

RTX's Airborne Radar Electronics Hardware Engineering team in El Segundo, CA seeks a Senior RF Design Engineer to advance circulators, radiators, filters, and other RF/microwave components for AESA-based systems.

You will analyze, verify, test, and present results to peers and leadership, collaborate on program development and new business opportunities, and contribute to a secure DoD environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM field required.
• 5+ years in RF/Microwave, T/R module, or antenna products.
• Design experience with phased array antennas/AESAs and related components.
• Experience with Keysight ADS or MATLAB Simulink.
• RF modeling with CST or Ansys HFSS; U.S. citizenship and DoD clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop circulators, radiators, filters, and passive RF components for AESA systems.
• Perform design analysis, verification, troubleshooting, and testing of subassemblies.
• Deliver clear technical presentations to peers, leadership, and customers.
