Job summary

RTX in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Radio Frequency/Microwave Antenna Engineer to join the Airborne Radar Electronics Design Hardware Engineering directorate. This on-site role centers on designing and evaluating state-of-the-art AESAs and phased-array antennas.

You will perform design analysis, verification, troubleshooting, and testing, and present technical results to peers and program leadership, with potential customer exposure as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM major required.
• Experience reading technical drawings or schematics.
• Hands-on lab experience with EE equipment.
• Exposure to RF simulation tools CST or HFSS.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of state-of-the-art phased array antennas.
• Perform design analysis, verification, troubleshooting, and testing for AESAs.
• Present technical information to peers and program leadership as needed.
