Job summary

RTX in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Senior RF & Microwave Engineer to join our Airborne Radar Electronics Hardware Engineering organization onsite. You will help develop advanced Transmit/Receive modules and AESA antenna subsystems, supporting RF/microwave sub‑components from design through testing.

The role requires a BS in a STEM field and at least 5 years of RF engineering experience, with hands-on experience in Keysight ADS, MATLAB Simulink, CST or HFSS, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field required.
Minimum 5 years of RF/microwave, T/R module or antenna experience.
Experience with Keysight ADS or MATLAB Simulink.
Experience with RF modeling tools CST or Ansys HFSS.
U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance within ~1 year.

Responsibilities

Support the development of state-of-the-art Transmit/Receive modules and antenna subsystems.
Perform analysis, verification, troubleshooting, and testing of RF/microwave sub-components used in phased array antennas.
Present technical content to peers, leadership, and customers, and contribute to technical strategy and path-forward planning.
