Actalent is seeking an experienced RF Design Engineer to lead the full RF product development lifecycle for aerospace/defense applications. You will own design, simulation, testing, and production release, collaborating with firmware, FPGA, PCB, mechanical, and test teams in a hands-on lab environment.

The role emphasizes transmitter/receiver design, Cadence AWR Microwave Office, and PSpice, with a hybrid onsite work model in Newtown, PA.

Qualifications

• Hands-on RF circuit design experience with ownership of RF products
• Experience with transmitter/receiver design in aerospace/defense or similar RF environments
• Ability to integrate RF simulation throughout design process and correlate with measurements
• Solid RF lab experience with independent use of RF test equipment
• Experience owning lifecycle from requirements through production release

Responsabilités

• Design RF/analog circuits for transmitter/receiver products and ensure reliability
• Own full development lifecycle from requirements to production release
• Create RF architectures, schematics, and test strategies aligned to requirements
• Optimize RF signal chains for performance, noise, and efficiency
• Simulate using Cadence AWR Microwave Office and integrate results into design
• Compare simulations with hardware measurements and refine designs
• Guide RF/layout teams on best practices for high-frequency performance
• Develop test methods and acceptance criteria for production quality
• Use RF test equipment to troubleshoot and optimize designs
• Support SRR, PDR, and CDR reviews
• Contribute to reliability, de-rating analyses, and corrective actions
