Job summary

CHAOS Industries seeks a Senior RF Engineer to design, analyze, integrate, and verify high-reliability RF/microwave electronics for aerospace and defense. You will work hands-on to translate requirements into robust RF implementations, prototype hardware, and validate performance through lab and field testing.

The role is full-time and on-site in Hawthorne, CA, requiring strong simulation knowledge but excelling with real hardware and measurements in a cross-functional, agile team. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years RF experience.
• Hands-on RF test equipment experience.
• Strong RF fundamentals and system-level performance knowledge.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex RF circuit issues.
• Eligibility to obtain/maintain a U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, prototype RF circuits using catalog MMICs (LNAs, PAs, filters).
• Plan and conduct RF testing across board, module, and subsystem levels.
• Collaborate with systems, power, digital, mechanical, and software teams.
• Develop RF test equipment, fixtures, and automation.
• Support RF PCB layout and impedance control in Altium.
