Job summary

RTX in Andover, MA is seeking a Test Engineer for the Circuit Card Manufacturing team. The role focuses on RF, IF, Microwave, Analog and Digital hardware testing for missile programs in a large manufacturing environment. Candidates must have a STEM degree, 3+ years hardware testing experience, and the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S.

government security clearance. This is an onsite role with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in STEM and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years of hardware testing experience.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support RF, IF, Microwave, Analog and Digital hardware testing for missile programs.
• Collaborate with Operations, Product Design, Test Development and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Interpret test requirements, develop/maintain test procedures, document practices.
• Analyze data to identify root causes of issues.
• Generate Change Requests on production test process issues.
• Lead improvement projects to increase first pass yield.
• Ensure hardware requirements are met and processes followed.
• Assist manufacturing operators in testing and troubleshooting production hardware.
• Support production tests on multiple functional test platforms; travel as required.

Education

Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math)
