Job summary

Ascensus seeks a Client Services Consultant in the Boston area to deliver consultative retirement plan service to partners, intermediaries and sponsors. You will leverage deep retirement plan knowledge and Ascensus products to resolve complex issues and provide value-added consulting.

In this role you will partner with the Relationship Manager to enhance client satisfaction, mentor teammates, and act as a subject-matter expert on specialized topics across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of direct client experience in retirement services preferred.
• Certification (ASPPA, CEBS or related) preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with all levels of staff and clients.
• MS Word, Excel; PowerPoint and Access preferred.
• Travel willingness and ability to handle work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative client service to partners, intermediaries and plan sponsors.
• Serve as a technical resource and mentor to colleagues across teams.
• Collaborate with Relationship Manager to retain clients and grow the book of business.
• Address escalated items and ensure timely resolution with clients.
