Job summary

OneDigital is seeking a Retirement Plan Consultant in Charlotte, NC to manage and grow a book of retirement plan clients while delivering expert plan design, benchmarking, and fiduciary guidance. You will work with internal teams to provide a superior client experience and drive long-term retention.

The role requires 5+ years in retirement plan services, strong ERISA knowledge, and excellent communication. Travel may be up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

5+ years of retirement plan related experience required.
Strong understanding of ERISA regulations and fiduciary best practices.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work and make decisions independently.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Demonstrated discipline maintaining client and pipeline information in a CRM; Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage and grow a book of retirement plan clients while developing senior-level expertise and ownership.
Design and implement retirement plan structures and plan designs.
Build trusted plan sponsor relationships and communicate OneDigital value proposition to clients.
Deliver client meetings, strategic reviews, and plan sponsor communications.
Coordinate with internal specialists to ensure seamless client delivery and retention.
Stay informed on ERISA regulations and fiduciary best practices to advise clients.
