Job summary

NBT is seeking a Compliance Specialist III to prepare complex compliance and government filings within service standards. You will review filings, determine eligibility, and conduct self and peer reviews to ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables.

The role requires an Associate degree with 5+ years of experience or equivalent, and the ASPPA QKA designation. The position offers a pay range of $71,160 to $94,903 and full benefits, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with 5+ years related experience or an equivalent combination.
• ASPPA QKA designation required.
• Ability to read and interpret complex regulatory documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex compliance tests and year-end packages per plan rules.
• Prepare, review, and publish Form 5500, 5330, 8955-SSA and related schedules.
• Maintain knowledge of moderate to complex plan types and testing.
• Research and resolve 5500 issues; mentor colleagues as needed.
• Prepare asset reconciliations and allocations for valuations.
• Assist with plan documents, amendments, SPDs, and notices.
