Job summary

Transamerica is seeking a senior market expert to develop and manage strategic relationships with institutional consultants, retirement plan advisors, and intermediary research teams. The role aims to increase awareness and adoption of retirement and Stable Value investment solutions.

You will influence research outcomes, deliver market insights, and partner across internal teams to support distribution success. Remote office with travel 10–25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Seven years of experience in advisor/consultant relations, institutional sales, or retirement solutions.
• SIE, Series 6 & 63, Life License or obtained within 6 months of hire date.
• Strong understanding of institutional advisor and consultant landscape, DCIO and Stable Value products.
• Ability to influence outcomes through relationship‑based engagement.
• Executive‑level communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in a matrixed, cross‑functional environment.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a national engagement strategy with elite advisors and consultant teams.
• Build and maintain senior‑level relationships with consultant firms and home‑office research platforms.
• Serve as primary external point of contact for assigned advisor relationships.
• Position retirement and Stable Value solutions to support research outcomes and platform approvals.
• Lead due diligence processes, including RFP reviews and ratings discussions.
