Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead owner’s representative efforts for large-scale retail projects. You will coordinate clients, design teams, and contractors, develop schedules, monitor budgets, and ensure governance and quality standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 6+ years of PM experience in retail construction, proficiency with Procore and MS Office, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture or equivalent.
• 6+ years of project management experience in retail construction.
• Proficiency with Procore and MS Office.
• Korean language skills a plus when working with Korean clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage all project stakeholders including the client’s internal stakeholder groups, architects, engineers, and General Contractors.
• Manage design team and general contractor procurement, including bid documents, pre-bid RFIs, and bid leveling.
• Produce a detailed project schedule with critical path activities and track progress to avoid schedule slips.
• Ensure governance, processes and TT best practices are applied across projects.
• Produce monthly status reports and maintain project trackers (permits, inspections, etc).
• Oversee multiple construction projects concurrently across time, cost and quality.
• Oversee budget development and monitoring; validate budgets as needed.
• Oversee design reviews for constructibility and client design standards.
