Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale tenant improvement and development construction projects. You will coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to drive delivery from planning through execution, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory alignment across multiple work streams.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of construction project management or consulting, onsite experience in Culver City, and proficiency with Procore

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in construction project management or consulting.
• Experience with commercial tenant improvement or healthcare construction projects preferred.
• Ability and willingness to work onsite in Culver City, CA.
• Experience working with a variety of stakeholders and managing multiple work streams.
• Strong organizational and team collaboration skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Procore.

Responsibilities

• Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chain members to support compliant projects.
• Track and assist in managing critical milestone activities to avoid delays.
• Support implementation of project governance, processes, and systems.
• Contribute to best practices across assigned projects.
• Assist in preparing formal project status reports and documentation.
• Monitor progress to ensure adherence to approved design standards.
• Coordinate with suppliers and consultants through reporting tools and meetings.
• Help manage project information flow through documentation and communication.
• Support forecasting and updating of key milestones.
• Assist in aligning design teams with project requirements.
• Provide technical support to owners, architects, contractors, and regional stakeholders.
• Respond to requests for information from the field.
• Support cost control, value engineering, and constructability reviews as needed.
• Review project documentation from consultants and contractors.
• Assist in client relationship management and identifying opportunities.
• Contribute to strategic thinking aligning with client and business goals.
• Capture lessons learned for future reference.
• Identify opportunities to improve internal systems and processes.
• Support business development with existing and new clients.
• SOX control responsibilities may apply.
