Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks a Senior Design Manager to lead retail design execution and coordinate design-construction workflows from concept through construction. The role requires mastery of architectural design principles, Revit, and project management, with the ability to manage multi-stakeholder prototype programs.

You will collaborate with client design teams, approved architects, construction managers, real estate teams, and consultants to deliver high-quality, retail-focused solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of experience managing complex design and construction projects in a retail environment.
• 10+ years of professional design experience with progression to senior design management.
• 5+ years of Revit experience in a professional setting.
• Strong proficiency in architectural drawings, space planning, and retail design concept development.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary design contact for the client and manage stakeholder communications.
• Oversee all phases of the retail design process ensuring safety, code compliance, and quality.
• Coordinate with architectural consultants to develop submittal packages for city review.
• Build program alignment with Development Manager and approve space plans vs codes.
• Develop and manage project timelines across a portfolio of retail projects.
