Eleven Western Builders, Inc. is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead subcontractors and EWB staff from start to finish, ensuring projects meet schedule, budget, and quality standards.

You will maintain strong client relations, coordinate daily site activities, and ensure safety and compliance across California and the western United States. The role requires travel, leadership presence, and hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a Superintendent role.
• 3+ years building/remodeling in retail, hospitality, fuel stations, open store remodels within last 5 years.
• Proficient in math including take-offs and square footage calculations.
• Able to read construction documents and understand methods.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; StruXure is a plus.
• Hold CA Driver’s License; good driving history; background check.
• OSHA 10 certification a plus; safety-focused track record.
• Willing to travel extensively; overnight stays near project sites.
• Flexible schedules; able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of subcontractors and EWB personnel from start to finish with precision and documentation.
• Schedule meetings and inspections to keep projects on time and within budget.
• Document progress with StruXure and send daily reports to Project Team.
• Read job plans 2x daily and coordinate with Sub-Contractors to schedule work.
• Conduct daily meetings with retail clients, EWB team and inspectors.
• Supervise site activities up to ~140 personnel per day.
• Manage RFIs and change orders, ensure regulatory compliance and safety.
