Eleven Western Builders, Inc. is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead subcontractors and EWB personnel across California, ensuring projects are on schedule and within budget. You will drive quality craftsmanship, safety, and clear communication with clients and inspectors.

The role requires 5+ years in a superintendent capacity, extensive knowledge of retail remodeling, and willingness to travel. Competitive wages, benefits, and performance bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a Superintendent role.
• 3+ years building/remodeling in retail, hospitality, fuel stations, open store remodels in last 5 years.
• Proficient in math: area, takeoffs, unit quantities.
• Able to read construction documents and understand methods.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency including Outlook, Excel, Word, Project.
• Driver’s license valid with good driving history.
• OSHA 10 and CPR certification a plus.
• Willing to travel extensively across California.
• Physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of subcontractors and EWB personnel from start to finish.
• Document progress with StruXure and send daily reports to project team.
• Read plans at least twice daily and guide work on site walks.
• Conduct daily meetings with clients, team, and inspectors.
• Coordinate site activities, supervising field personnel up to ~140 per day.
• Run projects of ~$5M+ to meet schedule and budget.
• Enter RFIs and responses to manage scope changes.
