FirstBank is seeking an Area Manager to lead a retail financial center network in the Smyrna, TN area. You will drive growth, oversee operations, and mentor staff to deliver superior service and financial results.

You will develop and execute center-specific sales strategies, cultivate customer relationships, and ensure compliance with bank policies while promoting community presence and balance sheet growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience within banking retail or lending responsibilities.
• 3+ years of leadership experience preferred.
• Proven experience developing customer relationships and deposits/loans growth.
• Experience with risk/control environments and bank policies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with area management to develop and execute sales strategies for financial centers.
• Lead, coach and motivate staff to achieve sales goals and deliver service.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers to deepen deposits and loans.
• Promote profitability while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Oversee daily operations, staff levels, and accuracy of transactions.
• Develop an active loan portfolio and refer larger loans to partners as needed.
• Participate in community activities to raise FirstBank visibility.
• Model safe procedures and foster a diverse, high-performing team.
