Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Specialty Representative in the United States to serve as the liaison to medical professionals, delivering clinical knowledge of Amgen's medicines and articulating their benefits to clinicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration required or equivalent experience in pharma/biotech sales.
• 3+ years of sales experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or hospital sales.
• Experience in oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, inflammation, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology or infectious diseases advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals.
• Lead territory sales by delivering branded messages and executing programs to meet targets.
• Utilize relationships to manage accounts, ensure product access, and address reimbursement issues.
• Develop territory plans with District Manager and analyze sales activity effectiveness.
• Maintain passion for products and support a continuous learning culture.
