Mercy Health in Warren, OH seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner III to deliver respiratory care across ICU, general care and outpatient services. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate therapies, and provide clinical leadership to the team.

Responsibilities include monitoring responses, educating patients, and collaborating with the care team. Requires state license and NBRC credential; RRT preferred; two years' experience; PRN availability at St. Joseph Warren Hospital.

Qualificações

• Current Respiratory Care License in the state where working
• NBRC credentialed (required)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Care or related field required or preferred
• Two years of experience as a Respiratory Care Professional required
• Competency in ICU/ED/general care environments preferred

Responsabilidades

• Provide respiratory care through assessment, planning, intervention, education and evaluation.
• Mentor staff and participate in clinical rounds and practice evaluation.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and participate in clinical research as appropriate.
• May serve as shift Charge Therapist and ensure adequate staffing for patient care areas.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy goals and modes of therapy.
• Document thoroughly in patient charts and adhere to safety and infection control standards.
