Job summary

Newmark seeks a Property Operations Manager to develop and implement policies and programs that ensure a well-managed building and high tenant satisfaction aligned with owner objectives. You will lead on-site teams, supervise budgets, lease administration, and vendor contracts while coordinating with senior management to maximize asset value.

A strong background in leasing, construction, and operations is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
RPA and CCIM or CPM certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in property operations.
Knowledge in leasing and construction management.
Must have managed a portfolio of three or more projects with direct reports.
A real estate license is required in states where work is performed.
Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in strengthening owner relationships by being proactive and responsive.
Support senior management in goals for real estate assets and position the property for value.
Prepare and report information to staff and property owners.
Develop upgrades to services to exceed client expectations.
Develop staffing plans and job descriptions for sites and promote education.
Oversee annual operating budget and monthly financial reporting.
Review lease reconciliations and estimates for accuracy.
Set on-site staff goals; perform evaluations and manage promotions.
Plan and deliver a completed project within budget and schedule.
