Job summary

Newmark is seeking a senior property operations professional to lead the development and implementation of policies, procedures and programs for a well-managed, tenant-focused building portfolio.

The role emphasizes environmental health and safety, quality programs, and aligning asset performance with owner objectives. Responsibilities include budget oversight, vendor management, and quarterly property inspections. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field; RPA/CCIM/CPM preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in property operations.
• Knowledge of leasing and construction management.
• Must have portfolio of three or more projects with direct reports.
• Real estate license required where work is performed.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement building policies, procedures, and programs.
• Maintain positive owner relationships and respond to owner needs.
• Assist management in aligning goals for real estate assets.
• Prepare and report information timely to designated staff.
• Prepare operating budgets and monthly financial reports.
• Oversee vendor contracts, payables/receivables, and service performance.
• Conduct site visits and quarterly property inspections.
• Ensure fire, life safety, and EH&S program compliance.
• Provide input to proposals with senior management.
• Develop service programs for clients and tenants.
• Support leasing objectives and broker relations.
