Job summary

Progress Residential is a leading property manager of single-family rental homes. The Service Technician II on the Property Management team inspects, troubleshoots and repairs systems in our homes, performing additional maintenance as needed to ensure a safe and quality living environment.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, adherence to safety regulations, and efficient completion of service requests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA Certification Required.
• Experience with residential appliances preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess situations quickly and determine steps to resolve service requests while delivering excellent customer service.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and service requests on electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC, and other systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot basic HVAC items including thermostats, batteries and filters.
• Report major repairs or replacements before expenditures.
• Ensure safety and compliance with company policies and regulations (EPA, OSHA, etc.).
• Complete service requests professionally and maintain punctuality and organization.
