Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Sr Construction Manager to oversee daily residential construction in assigned communities, mentor and supervise Assistant CM and CM, ensure policy adherence, schedules, and cost control.

You will coordinate trade partners, manage safety and quality, review plans, and maintain inspections with municipalities. This role requires leadership, on-site presence, and a focus on delivering high-quality, defect-free homes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of residential construction project management.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, and document management.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage the job site and supervise daily trade partner activities per schedules and scopes.
• Plan construction activities from start to finish, including pre-con meetings and final presentations.
• Ensure compliance with codes, safety regs, and maintain logs and SWPPP records.
• Use Build Pro for trade partner notification and invoice approval.
• Negotiate solutions with inspectors and trade partners.
• Provide feedback to Lead Construction Manager on performance.
• Approve trade invoices after satisfactory completion.
• Mentor and oversee Assistant CM and CM team members.
• Conduct field meetings with partners, staff, and sales.
• Track department performance against budgets and company standards.
• Coordinate with municipality inspectors for timely approvals.
