Job summary

Lennar in Texas is seeking a Sr Construction Manager to supervise and coordinate daily residential construction activities across assigned communities in College Station. The role involves mentoring Assistant CM and CM staff, ensuring adherence to policies, budgets, schedules, and safety standards on site.

You will manage trade partners, review plans, and partner with inspectors to secure timely approvals while maintaining rigorous safety practices.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in residential construction project management.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Advanced knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, and document management.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel).
Excellent follow-up, communication, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

Manage job site and supervise daily trade partner activities per schedule.
Plan construction activities from start to finish, including pre-construction and meetings.
Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Maintain site cleanliness and safety; keep safety logs.
Perform inspections and maintain records; manage trade partner invoices.
Mentor Assistant Construction Managers and Construction Managers.
