Job summary

The Michaels Organization is seeking a Resident Programs Coordinator to engage with residents and community stakeholders in coordinating activities, programs and events for senior residents at affordable properties.

You will lead on-site programming, partner with local organizations, conduct case management, manage volunteers, and track outcomes to improve quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of work experience in social services.
• A degree in related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Champions the vision and drives services delivery at affordable housing properties serving seniors.
• Manage all facets of programming and services by working collaboratively with community stakeholders.
• Implement on-site programs to meet the needs of residents, including: Adult Education and Job Readiness, computer literacy, health & wellness.
• Develop and implement community-wide events focused on safe and strong communities.
• Develop and implement services based on community needs and resident feedback.
• Conduct one-on-one case management services to support residents.
• Oversee the volunteer program, including recruiting, engaging and managing volunteers.
• Input data daily to track case management progress and program outcomes.
