Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) required for Level IV; master’s in reservoir engineering preferred for Level V.
• PE license is highly desirable.
• Minimum five years (Level IV) or six years (Level V) of related experience in power/steam field engineering.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with plant staff to optimize plant output.
• Estimates forward projection of steam supplies and generation.
• Evaluates injection effects and makes recommendations based on data.
• Develops reservoir models and forecasts production and generation.
• Manages projects including budgeting, planning, and reporting.
• Coordinates with regulators and other agencies as needed.
• Leads teams and provides guidance to junior engineers.
