Job summary

Quaise Energy is seeking a Lead Reservoir Engineer to design and optimize reservoir systems for Enhanced Geothermal Systems (EGS). You will translate analytical models into field-ready designs, working with drilling, power plant design, and exploration geology.

The role focuses on simulations, diagnostics, and risk assessment to guide development strategy and stimulation planning across projects, with a strong emphasis on safety and scalable, low-carbon energy production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in reservoir engineering, oil and gas, subsurface development, or related field.
• Experience leading exploration or subsurface evaluation programs from concept through drilling.
• Ability to interpret pressure, rate, and temperature data and assess reservoir properties.

Responsibilities

• Lead reservoir simulations to evaluate design scenarios and plant criteria.
• Advise on diagnostic program design including pressure/temperature tests.
• Review data to assess reservoir properties, fracture behavior, and well performance.
• Evaluate crossflow, injector–producer connectivity, and reservoir compartmentalization.
• Provide input on well trajectories, logging programs, and completion decisions.
• Collaborate with geoscience, drilling, and operations to support development plans.
• Deliver technical recommendations to asset teams and standardize diagnostic practices.
